Dear Chamber Members and Members of the Business Community,
2020 was a year like no other. Our businesses faced unprecedented challenges as we endured personal and economic adversity from a global pandemic.
I know you join me in first acknowledging and praising the ongoing efforts of the frontline healthcare workers as well as offering our sincerest thanks to the local heroes and community friends that came together to generously support the local business community.
At the beginning of the pandemic the Chamber suspended its annual events and activities and focused its efforts on providing timely communications through Chamber E-blasts listing important information with links to resources with help for small businesses. Our E-blasts also highlighted member businesses and worked as their voice sharing updated content and news to fellow business owners and the Pleasantville community. The Chamber also continued to build upon a social media presence promoting members news and messages.
2021 will hopefully see a return to normalcy and the Chamber is committed to helping navigate this shared journey. At this time, membership renewal is underway and we hope you will show your support by renewing by March 1st. In appreciation, we will give special recognition by featuring your business logo linking to your website on the Chamber website and on Chamber News E-blasts.
We are also excited to announce that plans are in the works to launch a redesign of the Chamber website with a fresh new look, making it easier to navigate and more user-friendly for visitors to access member resources which will better serve the needs of the Chamber’s 140+ members.
Thank you again for your commitment and partnership. Our organization is strong because of you. Together, we will meet this challenge, and ensure that we will get through this tough time and continue to thrive!
